Purpose

It’s our WHY.

It is the reason why we get up in the morning. The reason we still exist. That one reason we choose to go up and stay fighting, versus the one thousands reasons or excuses why we won’t.

It’s hard to define our why in our lives. Some of us found it like *snap* there it is. It could be formed due to pressure or circumstances, like poverty, missing family or friends. It could be light hearted like staring into the eyes of your newborn child.

I find it very hard to state the reason of my why in making this blog. Like I have mentioned previously, I am sure that there are people who can relate to the elder brother in the parable of the lost son. We don’t hear much of the older brother except in the last part where  he questioned how his father treated the wayward son.

All I know is this: God has never neglected you. He has always been with you since the day you were born. All the good times and the bad times up to this very day has a reason. Sure, I could only imagine that  there are times you just want to give up, be sad and depressed, lay at your bed covered in a blanket. Probably eat ice cream and binge tv shows.

But it’s not over yet. We are promised that “…not to grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap (a harvest) if we do not lose heart.” -Gal 6:9 (NKJV)

The why is the story I want to tell and also the purpose….

It’s also what I want to ask everyone else: What is their unprodigal story? What good things are there to share while we wait for our season, prosperity, harvest, breakthroughs and Jesus?

Share you stories! until next time!

  • unconditionally loved by Jesus
  • unpurposely purposeful
  • unapologetically unprodigal
